Known for her rich, expressive voice and hailed as an old school jazz chanteuse with new school attitude, Mallory Chipman has worked with Canadian jazz greats PJ Perry, Tommy Banks, and John Stetch. Mallory’s thoughtful compositions and fearless improvisations have helped cultivate a unique sound: one that marries the modern and the traditional; pulling from gritty rock roots and contemporary ECM sounds, while simultaneously showcasing her love of bebop and modal jazz. Mallory makes her Bassment debut with a jazz tribute to Leonard Cohen.
