Fiddles on Fire featuring Emily Dubois, Becky Wilson, Elsa Felstrom, Catherine Lee, & Sophie View

Originally from Langbank, SK, Emily Dubois began her fiddle journey going to the Kenosee Lake Kitchen Party. She moved to Vancouver, completed a degree in contemporary music performance, and has competed at the 2019 Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championships. She now runs her own teaching studio in Regina.

Becky Wilson is a 17-year-old fiddler and multi-instrumentalist from Canwood, SK. She has performed at shows, dances, and nursing homes and was recently chosen to represent Saskatchewan as a junior showcase artist at the 2022 Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championships.

The Trio:  Sophie View, Catherine Lee, and Elsa Felstrom have been playing fiddle for over a decade. All students of local fiddle instructor Kim de Laforest, these three up-and-coming musicians have been influenced by the work of everyone from John Arcand to the Beatles.

Cathy Sproule (piano) and Lucas Welsh (guitar) will provide accompaniment.
