Returning for its third performance in as many years, the Gerard Weber Group will play an evening of music focused around the music of jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, as well as original works for jazz quintet. With extensive training as a concert saxophonist and performer, Gerard Weber contributes a refreshing, polished sound to the jazz quintet setting as he and his bandmates explore the soundscape of electronic effects. The group features Adam Streisel (trumpet), Paul Suchan (keyboards), Nevin Buehler (bass), and Brett Graham (drums, vibraphone).
The opening set will be played by Jezzy from École canadienne-française.
