Although known primarily for his work with iconic Saskatoon rockers The Northern Pikes, Jay Semko also has an extremely productive career as a singer-songwriter and as a composer for TV and film. In addition to numerous JUNO nominations with the Northern Pikes, Jay was nominated for two Gemini Awards for his work on the hit TV series Due South and has won two WCMA awards for Best Roots Album. He will be performing selections from his 10 solo recordings, Northern Pikes’ hits, and songs from his new CD. Jay’s solo acoustic concerts are legendary for their laughter, tears, and tales of a life in music.
