

Tristen Durocher is a 26 year-old Metis fiddler from Buffalo Narrows. After picking up the fiddle at the age of 9, he began attending the John Arcand Fiddle Fest in Saskatoon, learning from fiddle teachers from across Canada. Tristen has attended the Kenosee Lake Kitchen Party in Moose Mountain Provincial Park and the Calvin Vollrath Fiddle Camp in St. Paul, Alberta. He has also taught fiddle in Leaf Rapids, Brochet, Lynn Lake, South Indian Lake, and Gilliam for the Frontier Fiddle Program in Northern Manitoba. Now living, in Saskatoon, he is pursuing a teaching degree. Tristen will be joined by Cathy Sproule (piano) and Clayton Linthicum (guitar).
