A founding member of Canadian roots supergroup Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Stephen Fearing is a prolific singer-songwriter with a discography of 10 critically acclaimed recordings. He has received numerous awards and nominations, including the 2007 Roots & Traditional Album of the Year JUNO Award for Yellowjacket and the 2017 Contemporary Singer of the Year Award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards for Every Soul’s a Sailor. Stephen’s Bassment performances are noted for his intimate storytelling, fine singing, and intricate guitar work.
