Newfoundland has a storied history of stunning songwriters, poets, and players. Over the course of the last decade The Once have writ and knit themselves into that story. With three Canadian Folk Music Awards, numerous ECMA awards, and two JUNO nominations, the group is now at the vanguard of contemporary Canadian folk music. Lead vocalist Geraldine Hollett and vocalist-instrumentalists Phil Churchill and Andrew Dale return to play an evening of songs from their previous 5 recordings as well as selections from their latest CD, Time Enough.
Hailing from a sleepy seaside town on the west coast of Newfoundland, opener Bradley Arthur Maxwell is now based on Los Angeles where he is currently songwriting, performing and wrapping up recording for his third album.
