If you haven’t heard Romi Mayes’s music yet, it’s time you did. One of the hardest-working independent musicians touring today, Romi released her seventh album, Small Victories, last June. She’s won three WCMAs for Songwriter of the Year, two WCMAs for Album of the Year, one for Blues Artist of the Year, and has been nominated for JUNO and Canadian Folk Music Awards. Romi has toured Canada, the United States, and Europe, sharing the stage with Levon Helm, Derek Trucks, Ricky Skaggs, and John Hiatt. With no intention of burning out or fading away, Romi Mayes is here to stay!
