
In his remarkable 40-year career, bluegrass, folk, country, and Celtic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist J.P. Cormier has won 13 East Coast Music Awards. With recording credits on fiddle, dobro, 12-string guitar, upright bass, banjo, mandolin, drums, percussion, synthesizer, cello, tenor banjo and piano, he has worked with country legends Waylon Jennings, Earl Scruggs, and Bill Monroe. Legendary guitarist Chet Atkins described J.P. as being “one of the most important guitar players of his generation.” J.P. returns to the Bassment to play selections from his 21 recordings.
