The Gerard Weber Group perform the music of jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, as well as original works for jazz sextet. With extensive training as a concert saxophonist and performer, Weber contributes a refreshing, polished sound to the jazz quintet setting as he and his bandmates explore the soundscape of electronic effects. The group features Diogo Peixoto (guitar), Paul Suchan (keyboards), Adam Streisel (trumpet), Nevin Buehler (bass), and Brett Graham (drums and vibraphone).
The Marion Graham Jazz Band, under the direction of Sarah Suchan, plays the opening set.
