Ian Sinclair’s Inward Aim Trio featuring Marika Galea and André White

Pianist Ian Sinclair moved back to Saskatoon after 15 years in Toronto where he collaborated with many of the city’s most acclaimed musicians. Bassist Marika Galea teaches at Brandon University, has received a DownBeat Rising Star award, and was selected one of CBC’s 35 best Canadian jazz artists under 35. Drummer and pianist André White has been a respected figure on the Canadian jazz scene for over 40 years and has collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Carter, and Benny Golson. Expect a night of original music from all three musicians, as well as fresh takes on familiar jazz fare.
