Jim Gallagher’s Bridges & Bones Quintet

Regina pianist Jim Gallagher has assembled an all-star band from the cities of bridges and bones that includes Trent Reschny (tenor sax), Donny Kennedy (alto sax), Soren Nissen (bass), and Chris Wallace (drums). Jim promises an evening of traditional and audience-friendly jazz and, as Miles Davis would say, the tunes will be Walkin’, Cookin’, Relaxin’, Workin’, and Steamin’–all from the American and jazz composers’ 20th century songbooks. Expect toe-tapping, finger-snapping, swinging jazz!
