Gillian & the Whiskey Jerks EP Release

After playing venues and festivals from Vancouver to Ottawa, Gillian Snider’s Whiskey Jerks have developed their own distinct sound, blending klezmer, rock, country blues, gypsy-folk, and jazz. The band’s honest prairie sound features clever lyrics, a sweet vocal blend, and a distinct, whiskey-soaked sensibility. Leader Gillian Snider (accordion/vocals) is joined by Anna Bekolay (violin), Sarah Scharf (clarinet/sax), Nevin Buehler (bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar), and Aidan Weiman (drums). The Whiskey Jerks aim to release their latest EP this June.
